Why this works

Three reasons learners actually pass.

The platform is built around retrieval practice: what the published research finds works, and what works in front of the examiner.

01 / 03

All 3 Domains and 8 Units Covered

MCQ practice across all three PMP domains and all eight units — from Team Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement through to Earned Value Management, Agile and Hybrid Methodologies, and Business Environment. Questions reflect the 2021 ECO split: 42% People, 50% Process, 8% Business Environment.

02 / 03

Agile and Predictive Approaches

Around half of your PMP exam will test agile and hybrid approaches. Got PMP covers Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, sprint planning, backlog management, and agile metrics alongside traditional predictive project management — so you are ready for any question style.

03 / 03

Detailed Explanations for Every Question

Every MCQ comes with a full explanation covering the correct answer and the principle it tests — from earned value formulas to situational leadership and conflict resolution. Understanding the reasoning behind each answer is how you pass the PMP.

03

Track Progress and Pass

Use your dashboard to monitor mastery across every unit. Consistent practice across all three domains — with particular attention to the Process domain (50% of your exam) — is the clearest path to a passing score.

The evidence

Active recall is the literature.

Decades of cognitive-science research find that retrieval practice (answering questions you might get wrong) produces more durable learning than re-reading or highlighting. We built a question bank disciplined enough to use it.

FAQ

The questions serious applicants actually ask.

How many questions are on the PMP exam?
The PMP exam contains 180 questions answered in 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes). Questions include multiple-choice, drag-and-drop, matching, and hotspot formats. Around half of the questions reflect agile or hybrid project management approaches, with the remainder testing predictive (waterfall) methods.
What are the three PMP exam domains?
The 2021 PMP Examination Content Outline (ECO) defines three domains: People (42% of exam questions), covering leadership, stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and team performance; Process (50%), covering project initiation, planning, execution, control, risk, quality, and agile/hybrid methods; and Business Environment (8%), covering benefits realisation, strategic alignment, compliance, and organisational change.
What is the PMP pass rate?
PMI does not publish an official PMP pass rate, but credible estimates place it at approximately 55–60%. The exam is challenging because it tests situational judgement across both predictive and agile approaches rather than simple recall. Regular MCQ practice — especially with scenario-based questions — is one of the most effective preparation strategies.
How much does the PMP exam cost?
The PMP exam fee is $405 for PMI members and $555 for non-members. PMI membership costs $139/year, so for most candidates taking the exam once, membership pays for itself. Re-examination fees are $275 for members and $375 for non-members.
What percentage of the PMP covers agile?
PMI states that approximately 50% of PMP exam questions reflect agile or hybrid project management approaches. This includes Scrum framework, Kanban, SAFe, sprint planning, backlog management, agile estimation, agile metrics (velocity, burndown, lead time), and hybrid methodology selection. Got PMP covers all of these in the Agile and Hybrid Methodologies unit.
Is Got PMP free to use?
Yes. The Team Leadership unit — covering conflict management, servant leadership, situational leadership styles, emotional intelligence, coaching, and building high-performing teams — is fully free with no credit card required. A $8.99/month subscription unlocks all remaining units across the People, Process, and Business Environment domains.
What are the PMP experience and education requirements?
To sit the PMP exam you need either a four-year degree with 36 months of project leadership experience and 35 hours of project management education, or a high school diploma/secondary education with 60 months of project leadership experience and 35 hours of project management education. Experience must be within the last eight years.
What is the PMP Examination Content Outline (ECO)?
The PMP Examination Content Outline (ECO) is PMI's official blueprint for the exam. The current version, introduced in 2021, replaced the old knowledge-area structure with three domains: People, Process, and Business Environment. It also formally recognised agile and hybrid approaches as approximately half the exam content. All Got PMP questions are aligned to the 2021 ECO.
How long does it take to prepare for the PMP exam?
Most candidates study for 3–6 months. PMI's own guidance suggests 200–300 hours of preparation for candidates new to structured project management frameworks. A practical approach is to work through each of the three domains systematically, using MCQ practice to identify weak areas, then concentrating study time where your question accuracy is lowest.
What topics are covered in the PMP People domain?
The People domain (42% of the exam) covers: conflict management techniques, servant leadership and facilitation, situational leadership styles, motivating and recognising team members, building high-performing teams, emotional intelligence, coaching and mentoring, team ground rules, managing diversity and inclusion, removing blockers, stakeholder identification and analysis, stakeholder engagement planning, communication strategies, negotiation, managing expectations, collaborative decision making, engaging virtual teams, and influencing without authority.
